| Me: | Maybe I should go into bellydancing...The Belly Dancing Archaeologist. Sounds cool! |
| DS: | No, sweetie. No. No. |
| Me: | I'm not serious! |
| DS: | No, you need to be a Booty Dancer. Work your assets sweetie, work your assets. |
| Me: | Heh. ASSets. |
I am moving to Winnipeg, Canada in September.
EDIT: PS: For work. It was the best thing I was offered.

Sorry for the lack of posting. It’s just been a long, good weekend with DS. I’ve even stayed an extra day to soak up the goodness. But Bay to Breakers-ostensibly the excuse for visiting this weekend- was great! The photo is of me at the start line of the race. It was a ton of fun: lots of naked runners (I saw maybe 2 dozen over the course if the race, about 99% male), people running in costumes, tons of fans along the route playing music & partying (at 8:30 in the morning, mind you). It was a gorgeous day, a little in the hot side even so early in the AM. But I managed to run up the steep & long Hayes Hill. I only stopped to give DS a hug and a kiss at mile 5 in Golden Gate park.
Click through for other fabulous 19th-century fashions. It will have you longing for simpler times of long-sleeved bathing suits and corset hats.
I made (painted) a t-shirt to wear when I run Bay to Breakers on Sunday. It features a rebus of one of DS’s nicknames for me/my race-running alter ego superhero. Can you tell what it is?
Pica: Yay! This is great! I have a little less than a month left in LA & will try to accomplish at least a few of these….Although that list does include a lot of things I don’t eat—in LA or anywhere else for that matter.
maririvera: So far I’ve done 19 things on this list. Only 80 left to go. I say 80 because I will never do #69 - LA Marathon. Hell no! I leave that to my little sister. Everything else pretty much involves food and the outdoors so I’m good there!
