One of my tasks for today is to book a hotel for DS, our two colleagues, and me for our archaeological project in Sicily this summer. The best place I’ve found so far is not only the least expensive, the most convenient geographically, but they evidently offer not turn-down service but instead “‘good night’ written in Italian in rose petals” service.
