We made it! Beautiful, exhausting, a bit terrifying at times. But I would do it again in a minute. 28.5 miles of hiking 25 pound backpacks 3200 feet down into the canyon (& back out again!) 2 nights of camping 39 degrees F in the tent on the first morning
